Butterfly Throttle Assemblies.
These Assemblies have been painstakingly prepared as a complete
kit, which includes all the components necessary to build a
correct 2.5 ST, 2.8 RSR, 3.0 RSR, or 3.0 SCRS engine.

Preparation of the
assemblies
The High Butterfly
Throttle Body Assemblies are result of a
considerable effort in sourcing all the correct
component pieces of the air induction system as used
on '73 RSR's, '74 RSR's, early 80's SCRS's, and
special order '72 911 ST's. The objective was to
create a 'bolt on' kit for the vintage racer or
concours enthusiast that is as absolutely authentic
as possible.
To ensure perfect fit and finish, an original '72
911 ST (factory 2.5 engine with high butterflies)
was used as a reference. The result is an air
induction system that has never been offered before
in complete kit form with so much attention paid to
detail.
These are complete assemblies
that have been flow balanced and are ready to
run.
It should be
noted that these are air induction
assemblies - they do not handle the fuel
delivery. A MFI pump
and associated fuel lines must be sourced by
the customer. Eurometrix can
recommend sources for the components.

Throttle Body Housing

Throttle body
housings are in excellent original condition with
virgin factory bushings. Associated hardware
(linkage arms, end stop screws, etc.) were stripped,
polished, and replated because the original finish
had dulled over the years.

perfect, original condition.

Plates ~

Eurometrix machined
|
Throttle plates were
machined with the correct beveled angle and fitted
to the housings. The original cheese head throttle
plate screws were reproduced in stainless steel.

Originals are NLA.
Ours are reverse engineered with an aluminum/zinc
casting just like the factory.

dulled over time so the cross shafts and hardware

available. Reproductions were CNC machined from
stock aluminum. New German needle bearings were
pressed in.

Droplinks from the
cross shaft to throttle arms are factory originals.
Pump link and link to bell crank were fabricated
using factory pieces as a template. New German M8
locking ball caps are included.. |
